Unveil Pyramid Scheme to Stop the War on Iraq,
“Pyramid Peace Power!,” is the Rallying
Cry of these Foes of Pharaoh.
Event: Peacenik Pyramid Scheme Unveiled at City Hall

Local peace activists will be unveiling a vast “pyramid
scheme” as one more part of the increasing efforts
to stop the US war on Iraq being pushed by George W.
Bush, who the peaceniks refer to as “Pharoah”.
“We’re pulling out all the stops in our
campaign to prevent this criminal war,” said Mikel
Clayhold, one of the masterminds of the pyramid scheme.
“We’ll be erecting this peace pyramid, which
will stand well over 11 cubits in height, in an effort
to tap some of the mysterious ‘pyramid peace power’
that we believe may tip the scales against the Pharoah’s
criminal war.”
Clayhold explained that the massive
peace pyramid would also be channeling energy to the
upcoming peace march scheduled for this coming Saturday,
at 2:00 p.m. at Waterfront Park. “And to persuade
certain City Council members to reconsider their blocking
of a resolution against war, we hope that some of that
pyramid peace energy spills into Old City Hall.”
The peace pyramid will assemble and rise into the air
at 11:00 a.m. this morning, Wednesday, March 12, 2003,
at the Fourth Street Entrance to the Old City Hall.
“The pyramid is a colorful collection of Brobdingnagian
peace signs arranged in the shape of a towering pyramid,”
explained Clayhold. Over two stories tall, the pyramid
shines with all the colors of the rainbow. “Everyone
is invited to get in on the ground floor of this peace
opportunity, a “pyramid scheme” that starts
with just a few people, but rapidly spreads out into
an exponentially growing community of peace, a community
struggling against the madness of the Pharoah.”
Clayhold said that the payoff in this pyramid scheme
would be tens of thousands of lives save, hundreds of
billions of dollars in tax-payer money that can be redirected
to schools and human services, and generations of terrorism
avoided.
